Original Medicare is a health insurance program that provides benefits to American citizens and permanent legal residents aged 65 and older, or who have a qualifying disability or illness. Medicare Part A is hospital insurance; Medicare Part B is medical insurance and Medicare Part D is prescription drug coverage.
If you don't want to be responsible for your deductible for part B, 20% of coinsurance and other medical expenses, supplemental insurance may be right for you. Contact us for more information.
Each year, there’s an open enrollment period for Medicare Advantage and Medicare Part D. After or before the open enrollment you can make a change if you have a SEP “Special Election Period”.
There’s also an additional open enrollment period for Medicare Part B participants who didn’t sign up when they were first eligible. This window runs from January 1st thru March 31st, with coverage effective July 1st. After or before the open enrollment you can sign up if you qualify for a SEP (Special Election Period). If you are looking for more options or want to change your coverage, just let us know.
If you are lower income and have difficulty paying your part B, deductibles, coinsurance or your prescriptions, the Extra Help Program or the Medicare Saving Program can help make your health costs more affordable than they would be with Medicare plan and Medicare Part D alone.
Your income and resources determine the level of help you receive. Generally, enrollees eligible for Extra Help in 2018 will pay no more than $3.35 for generic drug prescriptions and $8.35 for brand-name. Eligibility is limited to annual income. If you think you qualify for either program, we can help.
Our passion is to help our community to choose the right plan for them the right way.
Our mission is to help you fully understand your options, benefits, and get the most out of your plan. You are very important to us!
